New England Hong Kong Festival is a community-run festival dedicated to bringing the Hongkonger community together and celebrating Hong Kong culture. Through food, music, performances, games, and interactive activities, we hope to create a space for people to gather and build connections, exchange stories and experiences, and for those with a connection to Hong Kong to find a sense of home and belonging.

Our team is made up of diasporic Hongkongers living in Greater Boston who are passionate about building community and sharing our culture! While this year marks our inaugural festival, we've been actively organizing various community gatherings for some time now, from potlucks and barbecues to movie screenings and hikes.

我們是新英格蘭香港節，一個全新的節日，將於2024年5月18日首次在Somerville的聯合廣場（Union Square Plaza）舉行！我們很榮幸能與Somerville市、Somerville藝術局和SomerViva合作舉辦。我們的目標是透過美食、音樂、表演和遊戲來匯集香港人社區，一同宣揚香港文化。我們希望創造一個空間，讓參與者互相認識，更深入了解我們的社區和文化，特別是讓與香港有聯繫的人能夠找到一種歸屬感和家的感覺。

我們的團隊由生活在新英格蘭地區的香港人組成，熱衷於建立社區並分享我們的文化！雖然這會是我們首次舉辦這個節日，但我們已經組織各種社區聚會有一段時間了，從大食會和燒烤到電影放映和行山。我們非常興奮可以在下一年將我們對社區和文化的熱愛帶給更多的觀眾！
